ChurchCAMP 2011

When is it?

August 26-28, 2011. Camp officially begins Friday evening (eat before you arrive) and concludes with lunch early Sunday afternoon. For an additional cost, your are welcome to come up as early as Thursday evening and enjoy the day Friday at the camp.

Where is it?

ChurchCAMP is held at the Camp Tejas Retreat Center in Giddings, Texas, about 75 minutes from B/CS. You can check information about the camp, including numerous pictures of the facilities, at www.camptejas.org.

What will we do?

Activities for the weekend include: lots of time at the pool, fun on the rocking climbing wall and zip line, game night EVERY night, our annual frisbee-golf game, late night basketball, our seventh annual ComChurch Talent Show, worship together Saturday night, baptisms at the pool and LOTS of free time to enjoy and encourage each other.

Note: If you would like to perform in the talent show this year, email Josh as soon as possible.

How much does it cost?

The cost for camp is based on the accomdations you chose. Check the table below for details. Children 3 and under are free. There are additional costs (see below) if you'd like to come early on Thursday evening or Friday before dinner.

"Meadows" Area:
These rooms sleep 4-6, are the newest at the camp and the closest to our "home base" for the weekend. They include "Four Seasons" and "Barn 214". 		$159 $61
"Camp" Area:
These rooms sleep 4-8 and are located near the dining hall. They include "Tejas Inn","Log Cabins" and "Motel Rooms" 		$145 $54
Bunk Houses:
These camp style bunk rooms sleep 20. We will have separate "boys" and "girls" rooms! Not available for children under 7. All children must be accompanied by a parent unless coordinated with Josh. 		$99 $54
 
Other accommodation details:

*Families will be placed in a single room together unless coordinated with Josh prior to camp. If your family would like to break into separate accommodations please indicate such in the notes section below. All rooms must have at least 3 people (adults or children) assigned to them. Families with 5 or more members over the age of 4 (including parents) will receive a discount (ask Josh for details).

*Couples without children (and not selecting the Bunk House option) will placed into rooms with other couples unless coordinated prior to camp. If desired and upon availability, private rooms for couples will incur an extra cost $70 for the weekend (determined by Camp Tejas).

*Singles will be placed in to rooms with other same-gender singles.

*Space is limited and all accommodations are on a first-come/first-serve basis (unless extenuating circumstances exist).

How do I register?

The registration deadline is Sunday, August 17th. You will need to complete the form below and deliver payment to the church by that time. Once registered, you should drop off (or mail) a $20 deposit to the church to guarantee your spot at camp.
